Beyond the Bars is a website and brand that I created in my Interactive Design class in Spring 2025 to address the abuse that happens behind the bars in zoos and unauthorized "wildlife sanctuaries."

For this brand, I chose an earthy palette and bold font to capture attention while tying together the idea of wildlife and nature. Reading information about animal abuse is very heavy and causes people to look away, so I tried to incorporate "interactive" design choices to maintain the audience's attention. Such as the scroll section of the 3,000 - 5,000, and the dot paths later on in the website.

This website was developed in Wix, and the elements were created in Adobe Illustrator.
