Hey!
I'm Marguerite
I am a 21-year-old junior at Emmanuel College in Boston, pursuing a BFA in Graphic Design with a double minor in Marketing and Digital Media Production. I am proudly from Lewiston, Maine, and reside there during the summer.
Art has always been a central pillar of my life, so choosing to pursue a career in design was a no-brainer. My love for design, specifically advertising design, blossomed at my local technical school, where I worked with my classmates and regional clients.
I plan to utilize my skills and experience to advance my career in advertising or packaging design.

Feel free to reach out, as I appreciate every opportunity to learn and improve upon my skills.

My Experience
Portland Schooner Co.
As a Marketing and Media Representative for Portland Schooner Co. in 2024, I interacted professionally with clients in person, on the phone, and via email while also checking in guests for public sails, private charters, and special events.
My other roles included managing retail for dock houses and local store space, ensuring inventory is sufficient for needs, and all locations are fully stocked.

I was fortunate to use my graphic design skills to support new marketing strategies, from implementing signage to updating brochures, brainstorming new marketing strategies, and submitting events for posting. I was also a leading factor in capturing content for social media posts and feeding them to the team lead. I started experiencing with photography during my time with Portland Schooner, and the photography can be found on my work page.

Emmanuel College
Event Team (ECET)
On campus, I am the Graphic Designer for the Emmanuel College Event
Team (ECET) and have been in this role since 2023.
ECET is the largest student-run organization in the college and hosts
small-scale events such as bingo or ice cream socials and large events
such as Kids Night and Moonlight Breakfast with over 500 attendees.
I am responsible for creating branding for the club, which includes posters, flyers, social media posts, shirts, and any other media we may need. I was also responsible for rebranding the club, which included creating a new logo and style to match the new mission of our club. I also helped organize events with the 10+ other board members and attended almost every event we hosted.
