On campus, I am the Graphic Designer for the Emmanuel College Event Team (ECET) and have been in this role since 2023. ECET is the largest student-run organization in the college and hosts small-scale events such as bingo or ice cream socials and large events such as Kids Night and Moonlight Breakfast with over 500 attendees.

 

I am responsible for creating branding materials for the club, which include posters, flyers, social media posts, shirts, and any other media we may need. I was also responsible for rebranding the club, which involved creating a new logo and style to match our club's new mission. Every event requires a square Instagram post, an 8.5x11 flyer, and, for large events, a 24x36 poster board. Taking each design and converting them to different sizes and layouts has been very valuable, as it has made me very comfortable with changing design layouts and adjusting to whatever our social media coordinator may need.

I primarily used Adobe Illustrator, as the brand uses vector illustrations in designs, but I use any program necessary to best deliver our message in an appropriate and engaging manner.
